180g 45rpm 2LP — Half-Speed Remastered Audiophile Edition with Numbered Obi Strip
The Alan Parsons Project's 1980 concept album The Turn of a Friendly Card, a meditation on gambling and the fate of gamblers, returns as a 180g 45rpm double-LP audiophile edition. It was cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios at half speed on a customized Neumann VMS 80 lathe using high-resolution archive transfers of Eric Woolfson's mint-condition duplicate masters from the original 1980 sessions. The first pressing includes a numbered obi strip and is pressed at Optimal in a gold-foil gatefold jacket.
