'The Hives Forever, Forever The Hives' is the Swedish band's seventh studio album, a razor-sharp culmination of the rupturing, signature powder-keg rock 'n' roll energy that captured the zeitgeist during the early-2000s garage-rock revival. The majority was recorded in single takes at studios in Stockholm, including riksmixningsverket, owned by ABBA's Benny Andersson, and produced by longtime collaborator Pelle Gunnerfeldt alongside Mike D of the Beastie Boys, with Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age consulting.
