Order Cancellations

You can cancel your order at any time before it ships. To request a cancellation, contact us at orders@theingroove.com or call 602-957-2453 with your order number.

If you cancel within six months of your original order date, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method. After six months, your refund will be issued as a store gift card.

Records purchased with our Ultra Sonic cleaning service are non-cancelable once cleaning has begun.

Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be canceled. Please see our Refund Policy for information on returns.

Pre-Orders

Pre-ordering reserves a copy of a title from our allocation before it arrives in the shop. Because pressing plants, labels, and distributors control these releases, a few things work differently than a normal order.

Payment

Pre-orders are charged in full at the time you place your order. This is what reserves your copy against our allocation.

Release dates are estimates

Any date shown on a pre-order listing is the street date supplied to us by the label or distributor. These dates move often, sometimes by months, and sometimes with no notice to us at all. We publish the best information we have, but we cannot guarantee a release date, and a moved date is not a defect in your order.

Delays

We update pre-order listings as we receive new information. If a title is delayed significantly, we will do our best to let you know. You are welcome to contact us at any time for a status update on an open pre-order.

Allocation and label cancellations

Occasionally we receive fewer copies than we were allocated, or a title is canceled outright by the label. If we are unable to fill your pre-order, we will notify you and issue a full refund to your original payment method.

Shipping

Pre-orders follow our standard Shipping Policy — your order ships complete once all items are in stock. If you want in-stock items sooner, please place them as a separate order. Selecting expedited shipping does not cause a pre-order to ship before the title arrives.

Pricing

The price you pay is the price at the time you place your pre-order. If the list price changes before release, your order is unaffected.

Canceling a pre-order

Pre-orders may be canceled at any time before they ship, under the same terms described above: a full refund to your original payment method within six months of your order date, and a store gift card after six months.

On arrival

Once your pre-order ships, our standard Refund Policy applies, including the 30-day window to request a return on a defective or damaged item.
