Something About April III is the epitome of analog transcendence, a sonic world fueled by a 30-piece orchestra, analog synthesizers, breakbeats and Brazilian vocalists who carol psychedelic melodies in Portuguese. Closing the trilogy he began in 2011, Adrian Younge draws on Brazilian psychedelia of the '60s and '70s, recording an all-Brazilian choir hand-picked by Grammy-winning composer Céu. The Something About April collection has been sampled by DJ Premier, Jay-Z, Common and 50 Cent, and Part III stands as Younge's boldest journey into the unknown.
