On their twelfth album, Silver Bleeds the Black Sun..., AFI step into a bold new chapter, deliberately changing their creative approach to chase a singular, dreamy mood. Drawing on the death rock and post-punk they grew up on - Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees - guitarist Jade Puget produced and engineered an album that is dark and otherworldly yet grandiose and stately.
