Dave Brubeck - Live At The Kurhaus 1967 - The Lost Recordings LP
$69.99
180g 2LP, Remastered from the Original Analogue Tapes
By the time of this 1967 concert, the Dave Brubeck Quartet had existed for 16 years in more or less the same formation — and it shows in their effortless interplay. Known for breaking down racial barriers and making jazz accessible by revisiting ballads, popular songs and classical themes, the quartet developed an almost infinite variety of complex rhythms. Recorded in Scheveningen on 24 October 1967 and featuring Paul Desmond, Eugene Wright and Joe Morello, this edition is remastered from the original analogue tapes by Fondamenta.
