Like their now-legendary Lucy Ford, Atmosphere originally conceived To All My Friends, Blood Makes the Blade Holy as two separate EPs (To All My Friends and Blood Makes the Blade Holy) before joining them together for release. Unlike Lucy Ford, neither EP had ever been issued on vinyl — apart from a tiny pressing of the To All My Friends EP tucked inside the deluxe edition of photographer Dan Monick's book 7 Years With Atmosphere, which was never sold separately. This release finally brings the full project to wax.
