The Sound Burger has been a fan favorite since the 1980s thanks to its nostalgic design, quirky advertising campaigns, and unique listening experience. Audio-Technica brought it back in 2022 as a limited-edition red model for the company's 60th anniversary — and it sold out globally within days. By popular demand, the Sound Burger has now rejoined the regular lineup, pairing its retro clamshell aesthetic with thoroughly modern updates.

The AT-SB727 plays 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records with a belt-drive system powered by a high-precision DC motor, a dynamic balance tonearm with spring-applied stylus pressure, and a die-cast aluminum alloy platter with damping design. Stream wirelessly over Bluetooth 5.2 for up to 12 hours per USB-C charge, or connect wired with the included 3.5mm-to-RCA cable. The diamond stylus is replaceable, making it ideal for parties, compact living spaces, or picnics.
