Audio-Technica - AT33EV MC Phonograph Cartridge

A classic dual moving coil design that makes true MC performance attainable, from Audio-Technica's long-running AT33 series.

The AT33EV employs Audio-Technica's dual moving coil configuration, which enhances channel separation and extends frequency response compared with traditional single-coil designs. Neodymium magnets provide high magnetic energy, and the coils are wound with PCOCC (Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting) oxygen-free copper wire for pure signal transmission.

A 0.3 x 0.7 mil nude elliptical stylus is mounted on a tapered duralumin pipe cantilever, tracing the groove accurately across a wide 15-50,000 Hz frequency response. The aluminum and synthetic resin body keeps weight to 6.9 grams, and the half-inch mount fits standard headshells and tonearms.
