An easy elliptical upgrade for P-mount turntables, bringing Audio-Technica's dual magnet engineering to plug-in simplicity.

The AT85EP is a 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical cartridge engineered for P-mount (T4P) turntables, incorporating precision engineering and many features found in Audio-Technica's more expensive cartridges. Its dual moving magnet design uses two magnets arranged to match the left and right channels of the stereo record groove.

The bonded round-shank elliptical stylus sits at the end of an aluminum pipe cantilever and tracks at a gentle 1.0-1.5 grams, making it a friendly match for the linear-tracking and automatic P-mount tables of the 1980s and beyond. When the stylus wears, simply swap in an ATN85EP replacement, no tools required.
