Louisville, KY's Bendigo Fletcher deliver their debut studio album, Fits of Laughter, on Elektra Records. Frontman Ryan Anderson's patchwork poetry meets the band's jangly collision of country, folk-rock and dreamy psychedelia, yielding story-songs full of raw humanity, offbeat humor and a transcendent sense of wonder. Recorded in nine frenetic days with producer Ken Coomer (Wilco, Uncle Tupelo), the album was pared to eight essential songs — a move inspired by lean classics like Television's Marquee Moon.
