Recorded while Benny Golson was leading the Jazztet with Art Farmer, Groovin' with Golson swaps the three-horn front line for an open, blowing session featuring trombonist Curtis Fuller. With Ray Bryant, Paul Chambers and Art Blakey driving things, the band cooks and simmers in turn across Golson's "My Blues House," Gene Krupa's "Drum Boogie" and Jerome Kern's "Yesterdays." Mastered by Kevin Gray and pressed at Quality Record Pressings on 180-gram vinyl.
