Billy Preston's fifth studio album, Encouraging Words, was first released in September 1970 on Apple Records — his final project for the Beatles' label. Co-produced by Preston and George Harrison, it featured the first released versions of Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" and "My Sweet Lord," appearing two months ahead of Harrison's own recordings. Reissued on limited edition gold vinyl by Dark Horse Records.
