The haunting soundtrack to David Lynch's masterpiece Blue Velvet, available on vinyl in North America for the first time in nearly 30 years. The first of many collaborations between Lynch and composer Angelo Badalamenti, the evocative score is juxtaposed with early pop tunes to create an unsettling effect that mirrors the film, and it includes the first musical collaboration between Lynch, Badalamenti and Julee Cruise. The 1986 neo-noir mystery stars Kyle MacLachlan, Isabella Rossellini, Dennis Hopper and Laura Dern, with the title drawn from Bobby Vinton's 1963 song.
