Released in 1972, Ace was Bob Weir's first solo album, though it is essentially a Grateful Dead record in everything but name, with his bandmates backing him throughout. Nearly every song became a concert staple for the Dead, including "Playing in the Band," "Cassidy," "Looks Like Rain," and "One More Saturday Night."
