"Glamoured" is a Gaelic word meaning to be whisked away, says Cassandra Wilson of her 2003 album — "those split seconds when you're transfixed and your eyes don't move." Wilson sets that mood with her trademark mix of first-rate originals and adventurous covers, here drawing on songs by Sting, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Muddy Waters and Abbey Lincoln. Mastered by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio from the original master tape, plated and pressed at RTI.
