Heaven Tonight is Cheap Trick's third studio album, released in 1978 and regarded by many fans and critics as their finest. Blending the rawness of their debut with the pop sheen of In Color, it features the anthem "Surrender," "Auf Wiedersehen" and a cover of The Move's "California Man." It is also known as the first album recorded with a 12-string electric bass.
