Recorded October 11, 1955 at Studio Pathé-Magellan in Paris, this is the first of Chet Baker's mid-1950s Barclay sessions, featuring pianist Richard "Dick" Twardzik, bassist Jimmy Bond and drummer Peter Littman performing the distinctive compositions of Bob Zieff. Reissued by Sam Records using Jean-Pierre Leloir's original photography in a gatefold jacket.
