Cry is the second studio album by Cigarettes After Sex, recorded in a house on the Spanish island of Mallorca. The collection reflects the uneasy beauty, erotic longing, and stark minimalism of that setting — all smooth lines and soft light. Frontman Greg Gonzalez wrote songs minutes before recording them and produced the sessions himself, emphasizing live performances captured with drummer Jacob Tomsky, bassist Randy Miller, and keyboardist Phillip Tubbs.
