Blue Bell Knoll is the fifth album by Cocteau Twins, originally released in 1988 by 4AD in the UK and Capitol in the US. It marked a turning point for the band and their first full studio album issued in the US through a distribution deal with Capitol. Robin Guthrie later called it one of his favorites, as much for the experience of making it as for the lush, otherworldly results.
