Nefertiti, released in 1968, is the fourth album by Miles Davis's second great quintet with Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter and Tony Williams. The final all-acoustic studio album from this lineup, it is celebrated for its title track, on which the horns repeat the melody while the rhythm section improvises beneath them. This Japanese pressing faithfully recreates the original with an A-style cover on a 180-gram disc, cut and pressed in Japan in stereo.
