Alive 1997 is Daft Punk's first live album, capturing a stellar performance recorded in Birmingham, UK in November 1997 during their first European tour. After deciding it was their best live performance ever, the duo issued the recording in 2001: 45 minutes of non-stop live mixing that showcases their unique and influential DJ style. It followed the duo's acclaimed album Discovery, home to the #1 dance hit "One More Time."
