Indie rock project Day Wave was formed by Jackson Phillips in 2015 in Oakland, California. After his debut EP Headcase (2015) and full-length The Days We Had (2017), Phillips wrote and produced with Jai Wolf, Hazel English, and Launder, and a chance meeting with Pete Yorn led to Jackson producing and playing on Yorn's acclaimed 2019 album Caretakers. Now based in Los Angeles, he turns his focus back to his own music with Crush, a set of four exclusive new songs.
