For her first solo album, Debbie Harry teamed up with Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards of CHIC to fuse funk, rock, disco and new wave. Released in 1981, KooKoo became a gold-selling album and featured the singles 'Backfired' and 'The Jam Was Moving,' wrapped in H.R. Giger's iconic sleeve design. This edition is mastered from the original pre-production tapes and cut at half-speed by Miles Showell at Abbey Road, with five bonus tracks.
