Import LP pressing of the 1979 second album from the British rock band led by guitarist/vocalist Mark Knopfler. Recorded at Compass Point Studios in Nassau, Communiqué refined the laid-back, blues-inflected sound of their debut. After their self-titled 1978 album drew wide attention, it would take until 1985's Brothers in Arms to turn the band into global superstars — but the early records left a lasting legacy embraced by new generations every year.
