Recorded in Atlanta, it chronicles the lives of Elton and lyricist Bernie Taupin across the intervening years, marking an artistic reinvigoration that returned to the sound and feel of his early solo work. This 2022 remastered 180-gram edition includes the original Lyrics and Scraps booklets.
