Afrodisiac is part of the celebratory Fela 50th Anniversary reissue series. The songs were tracks that Fela and Nigeria 70 (later Africa 70) re-recorded at Abbey Road Studios in 1972 after they had become hits in Nigeria. Its best-known cut, "Jeun Ko Ku," is a satire on gluttony and Fela's first major hit across West Africa. This double-LP edition spreads across color vinyl, with the A/B side on green marble and the C/D side on red marble.
