The album showcases the final Mothers lineup - George Duke, Chester Thompson, Ruth Underwood, Tom Fowler and Napoleon Murphy Brock - and includes one of Zappa's most intricate tracks, "Inca Roads." Zappa's hero Johnny "Guitar" Watson guests on "San Ber'dino" and "Andy."
