Recorded live in March 1973 on a short US tour, these CTI all-star concerts document the dawn of the jazz-rock era. Trumpeter Freddie Hubbard and saxophonist Stanley Turrentine stretch out at length over a groove laid down by Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, Jack DeJohnette and guitarist Eric Gale. This Speakers Corner edition collects both originally separate volumes and was remastered using pure analogue components only, from the master tapes through to the cutting head.
