One of the synthesizer's true pioneers, Duke ranges from the fanciful daybreak of "Dawn" to funky workouts, soulful ballads, and Latin-tinged grooves, even revisiting his Zappa-era playfulness on "Echidna's Arf" and "Uncle Remus." Eager to experiment and quick with humor, it's a master of fusion at the top of his game.
