On Cool Cat Blues (1991), Ben Sidran gathered some of the coolest cats in jazz to back the celebrated Georgie Fame — drummer Steve Gadd, percussionist Ralph MacDonald, bassist Will Lee, guitarists Robben Ford and Hugh McCracken, vocalist Jon Hendricks and guests Boz Scaggs and Van Morrison. Alongside a fine selection of vocal standards sit a revamp of Fame's own "Yeah Yeah" and a dynamic reading of Morrison's "Moondance."
