Numbered, limited-edition 200g LP — the first-ever stereo vinyl release, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original analog tapes and pressed at QRP.

Recorded in 1957 after Miles Davis persuaded Prestige to give his old friend a session of his own, Gil Evans & Ten is Evans' debut as both leader and pianist. Writing for just eleven instruments, Evans used his command of dynamics and harmonic color to conjure the sound of a far larger orchestra, with solo turns from trombonist Jimmy Cleveland and saxophonists Steve Lacy and Lee Konitz. Part of Analogue Productions' definitive series of Rudy Van Gelder–recorded Prestige reissues, this edition presents the album in stereo on vinyl for the first time.
