Released three years after Gram Parsons' death, Sleepless Nights collects outtakes assembled with the help of his frequent duet partner Emmylou Harris: three songs cut with Harris for his final album Grievous Angel (1973) and nine recorded live in the studio with the Flying Burrito Brothers in 1970. The set gathers vintage country covers along with a country-styled take on "Honky Tonk Women."
