Vivaldi's best-known work is given new life in this all-analog Direct-to-Disc recording from Chasing the Dragon. The Interpreti Veneziani Chamber Orchestra performed each side live in the studio, captured via all-tube valve microphones fed through a Neve desk and cut directly to the Neumann VMS80 lathe — no master tapes, no overdubs — for a strikingly immediate, three-dimensional result.
