Originally released in 2006, Ballad of the Broken Seas was the debut collaboration between Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan, a haunting set of folk and Americana built on the contrast between Campbell's ethereal vocals and Lanegan's gravelly baritone. Often likened to a modern-day Nancy & Lee, the album was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and launched a celebrated trilogy. This reissue presents the album on 180-gram vinyl.
