Vinyl LP repressing of the 1980 sophomore album by the Manchester post-punk icons, featuring the original Peter Saville-designed packaging. Released two months after the death of singer Ian Curtis, Closer pushed the band's stark, atmospheric sound further with "Isolation," "Heart and Soul" and "Twenty Four Hours." After Curtis's death the remaining members continued as New Order, and today Joy Division are regarded as one of the most influential bands of their era.
