Recorded in 1985 at Compass Point Studios in Nassau and mixed in early 1986, Turbo marked the band's first use of guitar synthesizers. An instant commercial success, it reached #17 on the Billboard 200 — the apex of Priest's commercial run and their highest chart position until 2005's Angel of Retribution.
