Originally released in 2000, Please Come Home... Mr. Bulbous was written collaboratively in the studio by all three members of King's X, resulting in one of the most cohesive and adventurous records in their catalog. Free from commercial pressures, the album moves from the playful "Fish Bowl Man" to the emotional depth of "She's Gone Away," whose Ty Tabor guitar solo was famously captured in a single take. For its 25th anniversary the album has been newly remastered in 2025 by Rob Colwell and pressed on lime green vinyl, housed in a premium jacket with a 12x12 full-color insert of lyrics and rare band photos.
