Inspired by Miles Davis' Bitches Brew, London Brew gathers 12 of the brightest lights of the London jazz scene — including Shabaka Hutchings, Nubya Garcia, Theon Cross, Tom Skinner and Benji B — for a sprawling improvised session recorded over three days at The Church Studios in December 2020. The result is a fierce, electric tribute that channels the spirit of Bitches Brew rather than recreating it.
