Hot Trip to Heaven is the fifth studio album by Love and Rockets, originally released in 1994 after a five-year hiatus. The band traded their gothic alternative-rock roots for an adventurous blend of ambient, techno, trance and twisted lounge jazz. Egyptian-Belgian singer Natacha Atlas contributes additional vocals and percussion, lending the record a distinct world-music influence that placed it years ahead of the electronic revolution to come.
