Recorded on a Sunday night in January 2020 at Burdock in Toronto, January 12th captures Matthew Tavares and Leland Whitty (of BADBADNOTGOOD) reunited for a live, fully improvised jazz session, joined by bassist Julian Anderson-Bowes and drummer Matt Chalmers. The chemistry is magical — free-flowing and spiritual, ranging from the jazzier side to far-out moments of darkness, light and beauty, captured with studio-quality sound.
