As Neil Young puts it best: "This album is the unheard bridge between Harvest and Comes a Time." Recorded between June 1974 and January 1975, Homegrown was set for release in 1975 before Young cancelled it, and it remained unheard for decades — achieving legendary status among fans. Seven of its twelve songs are previously unreleased, with Young joined on various tracks by friends including Levon Helm, Ben Keith, Emmylou Harris and Robbie Robertson.
