Released in 1975 and widely regarded as one of the masterpieces in Neil Young's catalog, Tonight's The Night was recorded on analog tape in 1973 in the wake of Harvest, and dedicated to his friends Danny Whitten and Bruce Berry. For this 50th anniversary edition the album is expanded with six additional songs — including previously unreleased and vinyl-debut tracks — and "Lookout Joe" is replaced with an unreleased version from the original 1973 sessions. This clear-vinyl format is exclusive to indie stores, with the original artwork creatively reimagined.
