Raised on a steady diet of legends from Brandy and Musiq Soulchild to Prince and Stevie Wonder, Indiana-raised Mexican-American singer-songwriter Omar Apollo picked up a guitar at age 11 and never looked back. Released in October 2020, his third EP Apolonio refines the 90s-inspired, subtly bluesy, occasionally bilingual bedroom soul that earned him early acclaim, and features the single "Want U Around" (feat. Ruel). The vinyl edition adds an exclusive, previously unreleased track, "Alotonmymind."
