It was the first Opeth album made with producer Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree), who also contributed additional vocals, guitar and piano, and is widely regarded as the band's breakthrough and one of the defining records of progressive metal. This 20th Anniversary reissue is pressed on 180-gram vinyl and adds a live bonus track.
