Audiophile Hybrid SACD, Deluxe Hardcover Book Packaging
Captured in 1962 by Columbia Records at the tiny Greenwich Village nightclub the Bon Soir, these recordings document a twenty-year-old Barbra Streisand on the cusp of stardom. Personally selected by Streisand from the original master tapes and authorized for release for the first time, the album presents twenty-four performances of standards and cabaret rarities. Mixed by Jochem van der Saag from the original analog session tapes and mastered in 24-bit/96kHz by Paul Blakemore, this Impex hybrid SACD plays on standard CD players as well as SACD players.
