2LP, 2021 Remaster
Originally released in 1993, The Buddha of Suburbia grew out of David Bowie's music for the BBC adaptation of Hanif Kureishi's novel and became a full studio album in its own right. Often cited as one of Bowie's most underrated records, it pairs song-based highlights like the title track with adventurous, atmospheric instrumentals, featuring Mike Garson on piano and multi-instrumentalist Erdal Kizilçay among the collaborators. This reissue presents the 2021 remaster across two LPs, with Lenny Kravitz guesting on the closing "rock mix" of the title track.
