Released in 1981, 4 was the No. 1 album that pushed Foreigner to the very top of the AOR heap. Working with producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange, fresh off AC/DC's Back in Black, guitarist and mastermind Mick Jones crafted a sparkling, efficient collection of melodic rock where not a note is wasted. The album delivers the heavy-riffing anthem "Juke Box Hero," the genre-transcending power ballad "Waiting for a Girl Like You," and the funky, sax-driven smash "Urgent" featuring Junior Walker. This hybrid SACD is part of Analogue Productions' Atlantic 75 reissue series and plays in all CD and SACD players.
