Bongo Fury turns 50. The classic 1975 collaboration between Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart is built mostly from live recordings made at Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin, Texas, alongside a few studio cuts from the Record Plant in Los Angeles. It was the last album to carry the band name "Mothers" before it was retired in 1976. This anniversary edition features all-analog mastering from the original master tapes by Bernie Grundman on 180g black vinyl.
