Originally released in March 1969, From Genesis To Revelation was the debut album by Genesis — the first step on a pathway that took the band to considerable success and acclaim in the 1970s and beyond. This vinyl edition is the first reissue prepared with the approval of Tony Banks, Peter Gabriel, Anthony Phillips and Mike Rutherford.

Stephen W Tayler's new stereo mix presents the album in a new form, focusing more on the band's contributions with less emphasis on the orchestrations of the original mixes. The results are both remarkable and revealing. The set adds a bonus 12" EP with new mixes of "A Winter's Tale," "One Eyed Hound" and "Image Blown Out," plus the previously unreleased "Visions Of Angels."
